If you want to close your account on WebMD, a website about health and supplements, you’ll see in this manual that you can easily do that by contacting the customer support team.
I’ll show you some pictures below on how I managed to permanently remove my profile using a desktop computer.
1 Go to www.webmd.com and sign in to your account
2 Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on contact us
3 You’ll arrive immediately in the email form. Fill it in:
- Name
- Feedback category: Privacy
- Topics: Remove my information
- Subject: Request to close my account
- General comments:
Dear customer support,
I would like to delete my Webmd account as I’m not using it anymore, but there seems to be no delete button in the Settings of my account. Can you please close my account?
Webmd ID: (your email address)
Kind regards,
(your name)
✅ Result
1 hour later I received a (very kind) message from the customer support team that they deleted my account: “As you requested, we have removed your information from our active database and unsubscribed your email from all WebMD future communication. Please allow 72 hours for the deletion to complete in our system.”
=> That’s all we wanted to hear!
